The au pairs in the Maple Grove area spent a few hours snow tubing at Elm Creek Park on Sunday. Many have never experienced snow before much less the excitement of sitting in an inner tube and “floating” down a hill of snow with their friends. Au Pairs from France, Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, South Africa, Colombia, and Austria all had the experience of the winter wind whipping in their faces as they cruised down the hills. It was a great experience and the weather was a perfect winter day. Snow tubing takes sledding to a whole new level with an escalator type ramp to bring you back up the hill for another run. After snow tubing, the au pairs enjoyed the warm fire and some hot cocoa to warm up!
