Andiamo St. Croix Boat Cruise

September 13th, 2009

We enjoyed a lovely day cruising the St. Croix river on Sunday September 13th.  The boat started in Stillwater, MN and traveled downstream.  While on the cruise we enjoyed beautiful weather, scenery and a delicious lunch buffet.  It was great to meet all the new au pairs that have recently arrived in the Twin Cities area!

Join our on-line Cultural Care Community!

We are happy to announce an innovative on-line resource for host families, the Cultural Care Community. On our new site, families can ask a question, share an idea or “best practice” they use with their au pair, report a problem they are having or give praise. Cultural Care staff, LCCs and other host families can help answer your questions and join in the discussion. This new community is not meant to replace the customer service structure and systems that we already have in place, but rather to give host families a public forum to share with us and to connect with other families. Visit http://community.culturalcare.com, join the conversation and let us know what you think!

There are two new resources out there for host families offered by Cultural Care Au Pair.  I hope you will take advantage of them and use them as a resource to get questions answered and get support from our staff.

First we have Au Pair Answer Mom which can be found at

http://www.youtube.com/culturalcare

This is a series of videos that have been created by our own Susan Robinson who has hosted nine au pairs and has been a staff member for 13 years!  She has some wonderful advice and ideas for hosting an au pair successfully.

Secondly - our newest site just launched.  It is our Cultural Care Community Support Forum.  It can be found at

http://community.culturalcare.com/culturalcare?from_gsfn=true

This is a place for families to ask questions and get support from other host families and staff.  Check it out!
