It was great to see Host Familes and Au Pairs at our picnic at Buffalo Lake!
Au Pairs and host families and children came to the park for some fun on the playground, Subway sandwiches, lots of good salads from Host Familes, and despite the bees we had a good time.
This event was held at the Lower Sturges Park on Buffalo Lake in downtown Buffalo, MN. The park is located at Hwy 25 and 2nd Ave S. in Buffalo. The park has a playground, basketball court, fishing pier and you can rent paddleboats ($5 for 1/2 hour for four people); Canoes ($3 for 1/2 hour); Pontoons ($25/hour); and Boats w/motor ($20/hour).
For more information on Sturges Park visit the website at www.ci.buffalo.mn.us/parksrec/sturgespark.htm
Thank you to those who came, for the those who didn’t, hope to see you at the next event!
